HARTING Americas Update on Coronavirus
As the situation with the Coronavirus continues to evolve, we would like to offer you our latest update from HARTING Globally:
We are operational and able to support our partners worldwide.
Our China plant in Zhuhai is back on 100% capacity and all delayed confirmed open orders are expected to be fulfilled by the end of March. HARTING Zhuhai might be experiencing some delays with external suppliers, which we continue to monitor.
To bridge the gap, HARTING continues to manufacture at other HARTING production sites outside China as possible. In general, it is HARTING’s policy to have identical manufacturing in multiple locations worldwide when possible to ensure our ability to produce for our customers.
HARTING plants are currently running smoothly, including our plants in the US, Mexico and Brazil.
Our distribution channel and US warehouse is fully stocked.
We have been in close contact with our distribution partners to ensure they are stocked to support our customers. Lead times and stocking information from our distribution partners can be found via our Distribution Stock Check.
HARTING direct customers can find lead times via their individual eShop accounts. These lead times are updated to the best of our knowledge.
We are communicating proactively and working to reduce shipping delays as much as possible
However, recent international travel bans imposed by many countries have contributed to reduce cargo space availability and we might experience some delays due to extended shipping times globally. We will do our best to communicate delays.
We are protecting our team.
HARTING North America has introduced precautionary measures to protect employees including air travel restrictions, restriction of visitor access to business critical, telecommute work when possible and implementation of additional preventive health measures.
We have several channels for communication.
Supported by the cloud technology of our Contact Center, our Customer Service and Technical Support team will be able to support you remotely during this time using our regular phone and email contact information.
